Re: THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN IDUMUJE-UGBOKO, MY PERSPECTIVE By Dr. Gabriel Ifeanyi Ogbechie.

Our attention has been drawn to a publication, here-above referred, by Gabriel Ifeanyi Ogbechie published in Vanguard online of May 21, 2020. At best, his article may generously be termed his role in the Idumuje-Ugboko crisis otherwise it is a mere tale to ingratiate and celebrate himself and his perceived role in the fratricidal crisis. IS GABRIEL AN IMPARTIAL ARBITER? No question, when history opens the pages of this crisis for generations to come, they will surely squint with acute concern because Ogbechie's role will loudly be tainted with cruel miscarriage of justice. Certainly not a stainless umpire or arbiter. On the surface, the flow of his thoughts and presentation may hold the uninformed and innocent readers captive and thus persuaded to believe that Ogbechie, who also hails from our dear Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom did not stand aloof over the three to four years of our intense crisis. Indeed, Ogbechie didn't stand aloof. He enunciated his meeting

“FARMERS CAN SAVE LIVES” – PRESIDENT BUHARI ECHOES TB JOSHUA PROPHECY

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said on Sunday that farmers must double their efforts in producing more food for the country as Nigeria no longer has “any money to import food”. He made these statements in a short interview after observing the Eid-el-Fitr prayers at his State House residence because of the raging COVID-19 pandemic. “I wish the farmers will go to farms and save lives so that we can produce what we need in sufficient quantity so that we don’t have to import food,” Buhari stated, calling on those in the agricultural sector to maximise the opportunities afforded by the rainy season. “In any case, we don’t have any money to import food. So, we must produce what we are going to eat… I hope the rainy season would be bountiful so that we get a lot of food,” he added. Buhari’s call echoes the prophecy of prominent Nigerian cleric TB Joshua, who has been calling on the government to invest in the agricultural sector for several years. “Agriculture will help the

Billionaire Prophet, Joshua Iginla celebrates birthday, finally remarries

For every glory, there is definitely   a story to tell. Prophet Joshua Iginla, a man whose glory is shinning all over the world is a year older on Thursday, May 21st, 2020.   The prophetic giant   didn’t just emerge as an influential and successful man, there are several mind-blowing stories behind his success. How would you describe a man who rose from nothing to something, a man who was an object of mockery in town, a man who couldn’t afford to eat a two—square meal a day, becoming a man whom every influential person in the world wants to reckon with. Joshua Iginla, the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly can be likened to one who was never expected to be successful, but against all odds, woke up to success and started living it. Little wonder, One of the favourite topics to preach for Prophet Joshua Iginla is God’s grace. Of a truth, grace has visited the man of God and decided to live with him for the rest of his life, judging by the success he ha

CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK IS TEACHING THE WORLD HUMILITY, SAYS WHO DIRECTOR GENERAL, AGREES WITH TB JOSHUA’S PROPHECY

The Director General of the World Health Organisation, Dr Tedros Ghebreysus, has declared the coronavirus outbreak is “time for humility”, echoing the 2020 prophecy of Nigerian cleric TB Joshua. On Monday 18th May 2020, Ghebreyesus, whilst addressing world leaders who had gathered for the first virtual session of the World Health Assembly amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, announced, “If this virus is teaching us anything, it’s humility. Time for humility.” The former Ethiopian Minister of Health conceded, “For all the economic, military and technological might of nations, we have been humbled by this very small microbe.” The Director General’s assertion corroborates with the prophetic declaration made by the founder of Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B. Joshua at the beginning of 2020, weeks before news of this novel coronavirus infection began to spread. Speaking through Emmanuel TV on January 5, 2020, Joshua said, “This year will be a year of HUMILITY. This year, th

HOW TB JOSHUA PROPHESIED AVIATION CHALLENGES IN 2013

On 29th December 2013, over six years before the arrival of COVID-19 and its attendant implications on global travel, Nigerian Prophet TB Joshua revealed an impending challenge in the aviation industry that would affect both passengers and airlines. In a video released to Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel, the cleric can be heard telling congregants of a time coming when it would not be “business as usual” in the aviation industry. “There will be a shortage of airlines, airplane shortage,” he continued. “It will affect Africa so much. If your business is about flying from one country to another, I think there will be a challenge." The cleric forewarned of a situation where citizens could even be in the airport for several days without being able to catch a flight due to lack of availability. According to financial reports, the coronavirus pandemic will bankrupt most airlines worldwide by the end of May unless governments and the industry take coordinated steps to interve

Community Leaders Protest Against Suspension Of 5 Kingmakers In Ekiti

The residents of Imesi-Ekiti, Gboyin local government community in Ekiti state has dragged the leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC), in the mud over alleged imposition of Kingmakers after declaring the stool vacant by the executives. The residents during a protest withdrew their support for the Olatunji family after being imposed on the Imesi-Ekiti residents. According to the inscription on their placards the residents are throwing their weight behind the Agunsoye family as they described the family tenure as a peaceful one. The Community and the   Agunsoye family condemned this action. The residents during a protest had declared that Olatunji Olatunde is not a candidate for the vacant stool nor a member of the ruling house . Crisis rocked Imesi Ekiti in Gboyin Local Government Area on Thursday May 14th 2020 when the members of the police and Army Squard stormed the village to nominate warrant chiefs for the selection of the new On

Labour party chairman, Arabambi Abayomi blasts Niyi Osoba over comments on Buruji Kashamu

A member of ogun state chapter of Labour Party is currently in a mess over his comment on PDP Chieftain, Buruji Kashamu’s membership of the people democratic party (PDP). He wrote an open letter to the astute politician to align himself to the national body of the PDP but it seems several parties were not cool with the statement. One of them is the chairman of the labour party in ogun state, Comrade Abayomi Arambami. He described Dr. Niyi Osoba as very irresponsible over his comment. Read his response below: The crafty is always caught in his craftiness. People who are much discredited by their past are limited in the needful capacity to be coherent in a public discussion. Everyone is free to  say whatever but of course , the freedom doesn’t include being free from the consequences of his talk. In his own self – written testimonial as depicted in his bland and attention seeking statement directed at Senator Buruji Kashamu , he laboured very much unsuccessfully t

KASHAMU: I REMAIN A BONAFIDE MEMBER OF PDP

My attention has been drawn to a report in the ThisDay newspaper of 16th May, 2020, and several online publications, in which the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus said I am not a member of the PDP because, according to him, I had been expelled from the party. First, I need to let him know that the party at the national, state or local level is not about any individual. It is neither his private property nor is it mine. While it is true that he is the National Chairman of the PDP, it does not make him the owner or sole proprietor of the party who can determine or decide who is a member or not. As the National Chairman, he should be a father figure to all, not taking sides with some persons or stoking the fire of discord. At least, I am not one of those who left the PDP to sign a three-year agreement with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in the build up to the 2019 elections. On the ill-informed and unjust expulsion that Prince Secon
